Wahin par teenon lokon ke swami, Bhagwan Shiv, Bhagwan Brahma aur Agni Dev, Vishnu ki kripa drishti apne upar banane ke liye bahut der se khade the. Bhagwan Vishnu ne unhe apne kaam mein vyast rehne ke kaaran na to devtaon ko aur na hi Narad Ji ko dekha. Ye dekhkar Narad Ji ko gussa aa gaya.
Gusse mein Narad Ji Mata Lakshmi ke paas gaye aur unse puchne lage, “Prabhu kiski tasveer banane mein itne leen hain ki yahan khade devtagan ko dekh bhi nahi rahe hain?” Ye sunkar Mata Lakshmi muskuraate hue boli, “Bhagwan Vishnu apne sabse priye bhakt ki tasveer banane mein leen hain.” Ye sunkar Narad Ji Bhagwan Vishnu ke paas gaye aur unhone Bhagwan Vishnu ke banate hue chitra ko dekha. Narad Ji ko ye dekhkar aashcharya hua ki Bhagwan Vishnu ek gande, ardh-nange vyakti ki tasveer bana rahe the. Narad Ji ko ye dekhkar bada gussa aaya. Aise tasveer ke liye Bhagwan Vishnu ne hum logon ko dekha tak nahi, ye sochte hue Narad Ji ulte paanv Prithvi lok par chale aaye.
Kuch dinon tak bhraman karne ke baad, unhe ek jagah par pashuon ke chamberon se ghira hua ek chamatkaar dikha. Use dekhkar Narad Ji ne turant pehchaan liya ki Bhagwan Vishnu isi ka chitra bana rahe the. Us vyakti ke paas se kaafi durgandh aa rahi thi, is wajah se Narad Ji uske paas nahi gaye. Narad Ji tab roz uski dincharya dekhne lage. Narad Ji ne dekha ki vyakti mandir nahi jata aur na hi Bhagwan ki aaradhana karta hai. Ye dekhkar Narad Ji soch mein pad gaye ki aisa vyakti Bhagwan Vishnu ka priye kaise ban sakta hai? Narad Ji ko ye sochkar bahut gussa aa gaya aur unhone Bhagwan Vishnu ko shraap dene ke liye apne tejashvi haathon ko upar uthaya. Tabhi wahan Mata Lakshmi prakat hokar unka haath pakad liya aur boli, “Dev, tumne bhakt ke upasana ko dekha hi nahi, use bhi dekh lo.”
Ye sunkar Narad Ji phir se us charmkar ke karyon ko dhyan se dekhne lage. Unhone dekha ki charmkar apne chamde ke dher ko samet kar ek gathri mein baandh leta aur ek kapde mein sir se pair tak pochkar us gathri ke saamne jhuk jaata. Charmakar vinamr vani se kehne laga, “Hey Prabhu, kshama karna. Kal bhi mujhe yahi buddhi dena ki main aaj ki tarah hi paseene ko bahaakar aapke diye hue kaamon ko achhe se karke apna guzara kar sakoon.”
Ye sunkar Narad Ji bahut prasann hue aur samajh gaye ki charmkar Bhagwan Vishnu ko itna priye kyun hai. Is kahani se saaf pata chalta hai ki jo vyakti apni aajeevika ko Prabhu ka diya hua vardaan samajhkar bhakti ke saath us karya ko karta hai, wahi vyakti Bhagwan ke hriday mein hamesha vidyamaan rehta hai. भगवान विष्णु को क्यों श्राप देने वाले थे नारद मुनि
दोस्तों, जीवन में जो व्यक्ति अपने कार्यों को श्रद्धा और समर्पण के साथ करता है, उस पर भगवान की कृपा दृष्टि हमेशा बनी रहती है। आज मैं आपको एक ऐसी कहानी सुनाने जा रहा हूँ, जिससे आप जान सकेंगे कि भगवान विष्णु के हृदय के करीब हम क्या करने से जा सकते हैं।एक बार की बात है, नारद जी बैकुंठ आए थे। वहाँ उन्होंने देखा कि भगवान विष्णु किसी की तस्वीर बनाने में बहुत ही लीन थे। वहीं पर तीनों लोकों के स्वामी, भगवान शिव, भगवान ब्रह्मा और अग्नि देवता, विष्णु की कृपा दृष्टि अपने ऊपर बनाने के लिए बहुत देर से खड़े थे। भगवान विष्णु ने उन्हें अपने काम में व्यस्त रहने के कारण ना तो देवताओं को और ना ही नारद जी को देखा।
यह देखकर नारद जी को गुस्सा आ गया। गुस्से में नारद जी माता लक्ष्मी के पास गए और उनसे पूछने लगे, “प्रभु किसकी तस्वीर बनाने में इतने लीन हैं कि यहाँ खड़े देवतागण को देख भी नहीं रहे हैं?” यह सुनकर माता लक्ष्मी मुस्कुराते हुए बोलीं, “भगवान विष्णु अपने सबसे प्रिय भक्त की तस्वीर बनाने में लीन हैं।”
यह सुनकर नारद जी भगवान विष्णु के पास गए और उन्होंने भगवान विष्णु के बनाते हुए चित्र को देखा। नारद जी को यह देखकर आश्चर्य हुआ कि भगवान विष्णु एक गंदे, अर्धनंगे व्यक्ति की तस्वीर बना रहे थे। नारद जी को यह देखकर बड़ा गुस्सा आया। ऐसे तस्वीर के लिए भगवान विष्णु ने हम लोगों को देखा तक नहीं, यह सोचते हुए नारद जी उल्टे पांव पृथ्वी लोक पर चले आए। कुछ दिनों तक भ्रमण करने के बाद, उन्हें एक जगह पर पशुओं के चैंबरों से घिरा हुआ एक चमत्कार दिखा। उसे देखकर नारद जी ने तुरंत पहचान लिया कि भगवान विष्णु इसी का चित्र बना रहे थे। उस व्यक्ति के पास से काफी दुर्गंध आ रही थी, इस वजह से नारद जी उसके पास नहीं गए।
नारद जी तब रोज उसकी दिनचर्या को देखने लगे। नारद जी ने देखा कि व्यक्ति मंदिर जाता है और ना ही भगवान की आराधना करता है। यह देखकर नारद जी सोच में पड़ गए कि ऐसा व्यक्ति भगवान विष्णु का प्रिय कैसे बन सकता है? नारद जी को यह सोचकर बहुत गुस्सा आ गया और उन्होंने भगवान विष्णु को श्राप देने के लिए अपनी तेजस्वी हाथों को ऊपर उठाया। तभी वहाँ माता लक्ष्मी प्रकट होकर उनका हाथ पकड़ लिया और बोलीं, “देव, तुमने भक्त के उपासना को देखा ही नहीं, उसे भी देख लो।”
यह सुनकर नारद जी फिर से उस चर्मकार के कार्यों को ध्यान से देखने लगे। उन्होंने देखा कि चर्मकार अपने चमड़े के ढेर को समेट कर एक गठरी में बांध लेता और एक कपड़े में सिर से पैर को पोंछकर उस गठरी के सामने झुक जाता। चर्मकार विनम्र वाणी से कहने लगा, “हे प्रभु, क्षमा करना। कल भी मुझे लिए बुद्धि देना कि मैं आज की तरह ही पसीने को बहाकर आपके दिए हुए कामों को अच्छे से करके अपना गुजारा कर सकूं।”

Why Narad Muni Was About to Curse Lord Vishnu
Friends, in life, those who perform their duties with devotion and dedication always receive the blessings of the Lord. Today, I am going to share a story that reveals how we can get closer to the heart of Lord Vishnu through our actions.Once upon a time, Narada visited Vaikuntha. There, he saw Lord Vishnu deeply engrossed in painting a picture. Nearby, the rulers of the three worlds – Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, and Agni Dev – stood waiting for Lord Vishnu’s grace. However, due to his intense focus, Lord Vishnu neither noticed the gods nor Narada. This made Narada quite upset.
In his frustration, Narada went to Goddess Lakshmi and asked angrily, “Who is Lord Vishnu painting that he doesn’t even notice the gods standing here?” Smiling, Goddess Lakshmi replied, “Lord Vishnu is painting a picture of his most beloved devotee.”Hearing this, Narada went to Lord Vishnu and saw the painting. To his surprise, he found that Lord Vishnu was painting the picture of a dirty, half-naked man. This sight made Narada even angrier. How could Lord Vishnu ignore them for such a picture? With this thought, Narada left for Earth.
After wandering for a few days, Narada saw a remarkable sight surrounded by animal shelters. Recognizing the man from the painting, Narada realized that Lord Vishnu was painting his picture. The man emitted a strong odor, which kept Narada from approaching him. Narada began observing the man’s daily routine. He noticed that the man never visited temples or worshipped any gods. This puzzled Narada even more. How could such a man be Lord Vishnu’s favorite?
Furious, Narada raised his hands to curse Lord Vishnu. At that moment, Goddess Lakshmi appeared, holding his hand. She said, “Deva, you have not seen the true devotion of this devotee. Look more closely.”Listening to her, Narada resumed observing the cobbler. He saw the cobbler gathering his leather scraps, bundling them up, and then bowing before the bundle, saying humbly, “Oh Lord, forgive me. Grant me the wisdom to perform my tasks as diligently tomorrow as I have done today, so I can sustain myself.”
Hearing this, Narada was delighted and finally understood why the cobbler was so dear to Lord Vishnu.
