Jab Ravan ko pata chala ki kuch bandaron ne Lanka mein aakar idhar-udhar utpat machaya hai aur Lanka ko nasht kar diya hai to vah bahut pareshan hua kyonki Ravan ke anusar keval do bandaron mein hi itni shakti thi. Ek Bali aur doosra Bali ka putra Angad. Ravan janta tha ki Shri Ram ne Bali ko mara hai, isliye Ravan ko dridh vishwas ho gaya ki Angad hi vah vanar hai jo Lanka mein utpat macha raha tha. Ravan ko Angad ke shraap ke bare mein pata chala aur usne use rokne ke liye Akshay Kumar ko bheja. Ravan ko laga ki shraap ke karan Angad ki mrityu ho jayegi.
Lekin jald hi uska bhram toot jaata hai jab use pata chalta hai ki us vanar ne Akshay Kumar ko maar dala hai. Ravan ko jald hi ehsaas hua ki yeh ek aur bandar tha jo utna hi shaktishali tha, isliye usne Hanuman ji ko pakadne ke liye Lanka ke sabse shaktishali yoddha Meghnath ko bheja. To Hanuman ji ne Angad ke jeevan ki badhaayein door kar di aur ant mein jab Ram ji ki sena Lanka pahunchi to Angad swyam shanti doot banakar Ravan ke darbar mein gaye, jahan unhone apni veerta ka parcham fahraya aur Ravan ko apne charano mein jhukne par majboor kar diya. यह सवाल अक्सर कई लोगों को परेशान करता है कि अगर अंगद भी समुद्र पार कर सकते थे तो फिर हनुमान जी सबसे पहले लंका क्यों गए? आज मैं इसी प्रश्न के उत्तर में यह लेख लिख रहा हूँ। अंगद जी बाली के पुत्र थे, इसलिए अंगद बुद्धि और बल में बाली के ही समान थे। अत: अंगद के लिए समुद्र पार करना कठिन नहीं होगा। अंगद खेल-खेल में ही समुद्र पार कर लेते थे। हालाँकि, उन्होंने कुछ शंकाएँ व्यक्त कीं और कहा कि वह समुद्र तैर कर पार कर लेंगे, लेकिन हो सकता है कि वापस न आ सकें। लेकिन अब सवाल यह उठता है कि अंगद को वापस न लौटने का संदेह क्यों हुआ.
दरअसल, बालि के पुत्र अंगद और दशानन के पुत्र अक्षय कुमार दोनों को एक ही गुरु से शिक्षा मिली थी। अंगद जन्म से ही बहुत बलवान थे और उनके बल के कारण ही अंगद का स्वभाव शरारती हो गया था। इसलिए अपने शरारती स्वभाव के कारण अंगद अक्सर रावण के पुत्र अक्षय कुमार की पिटाई कर देते थे। अंगद के थप्पड़ से अक्षय कुमार अक्सर बेहोश हो जाते थे। अक्षय कुमार ने अंगद के व्यवहार की शिकायत अपने गुरु से की. गुरु जी अंगद को बच्चा समझते थे और उसकी गलतियों पर ध्यान नहीं देते थे।
लेकिन अंगद ने अपनी शरारतें बंद नहीं कीं और आए दिन अक्षय कुमार को परेशान करते रहे। अतः एक दिन अंगद के गुरु ने क्रोधित होकर अंगद को श्राप दे दिया। श्राप यह था कि अगर अंगद कभी अक्षय कुमार के पास पहुंचे तो उसी क्षण उनकी मृत्यु हो जाएगी। इस श्राप के बाद अंगद ने अक्षय कुमार से दूरी बनानी शुरू कर दी। जब वानर सेना माता सीता की खोज में निकली और समुद्र पार करने की बात हुई तो अंगद को संदेह हुआ कि यदि वे समुद्र पार करके लंका में जाकर अक्षय कुमार से मिलेंगे तो गुरु के श्राप के कारण उसकी मृत्यु हो जायेगी और श्री राम का काम अधूरा रह जायेगा। क्योंकि वह वापस नहीं आ पाएगा.
इसलिए हनुमानजी को सीता माता की खोज करने की सलाह दी गई और हनुमानजी समुद्र पार कर लंका पहुंच गए। जब रावण को पता चला कि कुछ बंदरों ने लंका में आकर इधर-उधर उत्पात मचाया है और लंका को नष्ट कर दिया है तो वह बहुत परेशान हुआ क्योंकि रावण के अनुसार केवल दो बंदरों में ही इतनी शक्ति थी। एक बाली और दूसरा बाली का पुत्र अंगद। रावण जानता था कि श्री राम ने बाली को मारा है, इसलिए रावण को दृढ़ विश्वास हो गया कि अंगद ही वह वानर था जो लंका में उत्पात मचा रहा था। रावण को अंगद के श्राप के बारे में पता चला और उसने उस वानर को रोकने के लिए अक्षय कुमार को भेजा। रावण को लगा कि श्राप के कारण अंगद की मृत्यु हो जायेगी।
लेकिन जल्द ही उसका भ्रम टूट जाता है जब उसे पता चलता है कि उस वानर ने अक्षय कुमार को मार डाला है। रावण को जल्द ही एहसास हुआ कि यह एक और बंदर था जो उतना ही शक्तिशाली था, इसलिए उसने हनुमान जी को पकड़ने के लिए लंका के सबसे शक्तिशाली योद्धा मेघनाथ को भेजा। क्योंकि रावण जानना चाहता था कि बाली और अंगद के अलावा इस धरती पर कौन-कौन से अत्यंत शक्तिशाली वानर मौजूद हैं। हनुमानजी बुद्धिमान थे और जानते थे कि यदि अक्षय कुमार जीवित रहे तो अंगद के लिए लंका में प्रवेश करना असंभव होगा। तो हनुमान जी ने अंगद के जीवन की बाधाएं दूर कर दीं। और अंततः जब रामजी की सेना लंका पहुँची तो अंगद स्वयं शांति दूत बनकर रावण के दरबार में गये, जहाँ उन्होंने अपनी वीरता की पताका फहरायी और रावण को अपने चरणों में झुकने पर मजबूर कर दिया। बोलो जय श्री राम.

This is a question that often troubles many people that if Angad could cross the ocean, then why did Hanuman go to Lanka first? Today, I am writing this article to answer this question. But Angad did not stop his mischievousness and kept bothering Akshay Kumar every day. Therefore, one day, Angad’s guru became angry and cursed him. The curse was that if Angad ever went to Akshay Kumar, he would die on the spot. After this curse, Angad started keeping his distance from Akshay Kumar. When the Vanar army went in search of Mother Sita and the idea of crossing the ocean came up, Angad had doubts that if he went to Lanka and met Akshay Kumar, then due to the curse of the guru, he would die, and Sri Ram’s work would remain unfinished as he would not be able to return.
Therefore, Hanuman was advised to search for Mother Sita, and Hanuman crossed the ocean and reached Lanka. When Ravana found out that some monkeys had come and caused chaos in Lanka, and destroyed it, he was very upset because, according to Ravana, only two monkeys had so much power. One was Bali, and the other was Bali’s son Angad. Ravana knew that Sri Ram had killed Bali, so Ravana became convinced that Angad was the monkey who was causing chaos in Lanka. Ravana came to know about the curse on Angad, and he sent Akshay Kumar to stop that monkey. Ravana believed that due to the curse, Angad would die.
But soon his delusion was shattered when he found out that that monkey had killed Akshay Kumar. Ravana soon realized that there was another monkey who was just as powerful, so he sent Meghnath, the most powerful warrior of Lanka, to capture Hanuman. Because Ravana wanted to know who else in this world, apart from Bali and Angad, was an extremely powerful monkey. Hanuman was intelligent and knew that if Akshay Kumar were alive, it would be impossible for Angad to enter Lanka. So Hanuman removed the obstacles in Angad’s life. Finally, when Sri Ram’s army reached Lanka, Angad himself went as the messenger of peace to the court of Ravana. There he unfurled the flag of his bravery and forced Ravana to kneel at his feet.
