भगवान हनुमान के होने के बावजूद, काल कभी भी अयोध्या में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकते थे। उस दिन, जब काल का आगमन हुआ, वहां श्रीराम ने एक योजना बनाई कि हनुमान को अयोध्या के मुख्य द्वार से दूर करने के लिए। श्रीराम ने अपनी अंगूठी को महल के फर्श में एक दरार में डाल दी और हनुमान को आदेश दिया कि वह उस अंगूठी को उस दरार से बाहर निकाले। हनुमान ने उस अंगूठी को ढूंढने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन वह नहीं मिली। फिर, उन्होंने खुद को उस दरार के समान कर लिया और अंगूठी की खोज की। जब भगवान हनुमान उस दरार के अंदर गए, तो उन्हें यह पता चला कि वह छिद्र केवल दीवार नहीं है, बल्कि एक सुरंग भी है, जो नागलोक की ओर जा रही थी।भगवान हनुमान उस सुरंग के अंदर गए तथा वहां जाकर वे नागों के राजा वासुकि से मिले।
वासुकि हनुमान जी को नाग लोक के मध्य में ले गए। नाग लोक के मध्य में अंगूठियों का एक विशाल पहाड़ था। अंगूठियों के उस विशाल पहाड़ को दिखाते हुए वासुकि ने भगवान हनुमान जी को कहा कि यहां उन्हें श्री राम की अंगूठी मिल जाएगी। अंगूठियों के विशाल पर्वत को देख कर हनुमान जी सोच में डूब गए कि इतने विशाल अंगूठियों के ढेर से वह श्री राम की अंगूठी कैसे ढूंढेंगे। जैसे ही हनुमान जी ने पहली अंगूठी उठायी तो देखा कि यह श्री राम की अंगूठी है। परन्तु उन्हें हैरानी तब हुई जब उन्होंने दूसरी अंगूठी को उठा कर देखा तो वह भी श्री राम की ही थी। यह सब देख कर हनुमान जी को कुछ पल के लिये कुछ समझ नही आया कि उनके साथ क्या हो रहा है।
जब हनुमान जी कुछ समझ नही पा रहे थे, वासुकि हनुमान जी के पास आये। उन्हें देखकर वासुकि मुस्कुराये और हनुमान जी को समझाने लगे कि पृथ्वी लोक ऐसा लोक है जहां जो भी आता है उसे एक दिन अपना सब छोड़ कर वापिस लौटना होता है। उसके वापिस जाने का साधन कुछ भी हो सकता है। वासुकि की बाते कुछ कुछ हनुमान जी की समझ में आने लगीं। परन्तु पूरी बात उन्हें तब समझ में आयी जब वासुकि ने अपनी बात पूरी करते हुए कहा कि श्री राम भी पृथ्वी लोक छोड़ कर एक दिन विष्णु लोक अवश्य जायेंगे।अब हनुमान जी समझ गए थे कि उनको अंगूठी ढूंढने के लिए भेजना, श्री राम द्वारा बनाई गयी एक योजना थी। वासुकि की बताई बात से हनुमान जी को स्पष्ट हुआ कि श्री राम ने उन्हें इसलिए नाग लोक भेजा ताकि हनुमान जी अपने कर्तव्य से भटक जाएँ तथा काल अयोध्या में प्रवेश कर के श्री राम को उनके जीवनकाल की समाप्ति की सूचना दे सके। हनुमान जी अब जान चुके थे कि जब वह नाग लोक से निकल कर अयोध्या जायेंगे उन्हें वहां उनके श्री राम नही मिलेंगे।

Bhagavan Ram ne kyo diya tha hanumanji ko anguthi Dhundhne ka aadesh
Bhagwan Hanuman ke hote huye, Kaal kabhi Ayodhya mein pravesh nahi kar sakte thay. Issi karan se woh din jab Kaal ko Ayodhya aana tha, Shri Ram ne ek yojana banai Bhagwan Hanuman ko Ayodhya ke pramukh dwaar se door karne ke liye. Shri Ram ne apni angoothi mahal ke farsh mein rakhi aur Hanuman ji ko adesh diya ki woh us angoothi ko us darar se nikalein.
Bhagwan Hanuman ne angoothi dhoondne ki koshish ki, par nahi mil payi. Toh unhone apne sharir ko darar ke aakar se badal kar dobara koshish ki. Unki ashcharya hui jab unhein pata chala ki woh darar deewar nahi balki ek gufa hai, Nag Lok ki disha mein ja rahi thi. Bhagwan Hanuman us gufa mein gaye aur wahaan ja kar ve Nag Raj Vasuki se mile.
Vasuki ne Hanuman ji ko Nag Lok ke madhy mein le gaye. Nag Lok ke madhy mein angoothiyon ka ek vishaal parvat tha. Angoothiyon ke us vishaal parvat ko dikhate hue Vasuki ne Bhagwan Hanuman ji ko kaha ki yahaan unhein Shri Ram ki angoothi milti jayegi. Angoothiyon ke us vishaal parvat ko dekh kar Hanuman ji soch mein doob gaye ki itne vishaal angoothiyon ke dher mein woh Shri Ram ki angoothi kaise dhoondenge.
Jab Hanuman ji ne pehli angoothi uthayi toh unhein pata chala ki yeh Shri Ram ki angoothi hai. Par unhein hairani tab hui jab unhone doosri angoothi uthayi toh woh bhi Shri Ram ki angoothi thi. Yeh dekh kar Hanuman ji samajh nahi paaye ki unke saath kya ho raha hai.
Hanuman ji ki hairani dekh kar Vasuki ne samjhaya ki Prithvi Lok woh jagah hai jahan jo bhi aata hai, woh ek din apna sab kuch chhod kar waapas jaana hota hai. Us waapas jaane ka sadhan kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Vasuki phir Hanuman ji ko samjhate hue bole ki Shri Ram bhi Prithvi Lok chhod kar ek din Vishnu Lok waapas jaayenge.
Ab Hanuman ko samajh mein aaya ki Shri Ram ne use Nag Lok bheja tha na sirf angoothi lene ke liye, balki Prithvi Lok mein uske kaal ka ant hone ka sanket dene ke liye. Ab Hanuman ko pata tha ki Nag Lok se nikal kar us Ayodhya mein Shri Ram se nahi milenge.

When Lord Ram ordered Hanuman to find the ring and bring it.
Bhagwan Hanuman, being omnipresent, could never enter Ayodhya due to a particular curse. Therefore, on the day when it was time for Kaal to visit Ayodhya, Lord Rama devised a plan to keep Bhagwan Hanuman away from Ayodhya’s main gate. Lord Rama placed his ring in a crack in the palace floor and ordered Hanumanji to retrieve it.
Bhagwan Hanuman attempted to find the ring, but he couldn’t. So, he transformed his body to be as large as the crack and tried again. To his surprise, he discovered that the crack wasn’t a wall, but rather an entrance to a tunnel leading to the Nag Lok, the world of serpents. Bhagwan Hanuman proceeded into the tunnel and met Vasuki, the King of the serpents.
Vasuki guided Hanumanji further into the heart of Nag Lok, which had an enormous mountain of rings. Vasuki pointed out that somewhere in this vast mountain of rings, Hanuman would find Lord Rama’s ring. Hanuman was bewildered, as he couldn’t fathom how he would locate the specific ring in this massive pile.
When Hanuman lifted the first ring, he realized it was Lord Rama’s ring. But his amazement grew when he picked up another ring, and it was also Lord Rama’s. He was puzzled and couldn’t comprehend what was happening.
Seeing Hanuman’s confusion, Vasuki explained that in the Earthly realm, anything that comes must eventually return. The means of returning can vary. Vasuki then continued to explain that even Lord Rama would leave the Earthly realm one day to return to Vishnu Lok. Finally, Hanuman grasped the significance of his journey.
He understood that Lord Rama had sent him to Nag Lok not just to retrieve the ring but to signify the end of his time in the Earthly realm and convey the message that Rama would soon leave Ayodhya and return to his divine abode. Now, Hanuman knew that after leaving Nag Lok, he wouldn’t meet Lord Rama in Ayodhya.
